Pete suffered a stroke in 2023 that took away his ability to speak. When he was released from the hospital, he was informed that it would take 1-2 years to recover and be able to talk normally again. He didn't accept that and regained his speech in just six weeks. Pete will discuss his stroke, surgery, waking up with no voice, and how he managed to get his voice back so quickly. He will also cover what caused his stroke and how anyone can reduce the risk of it happening to them.
Life can be filled with adversity that can leave a person hanging on to the knot tied at the end of their rope. In the midst of adversity, it is often difficult to understand why bad things happen.
